PINKY MAYNARD BERG Age 71, Oak Harbor, WA, formerly of the Inland Empire. Born April 6, 1941, Kansas City, MO; Died July 29, 2012, Camarillo, CA. Surrounded by family and friends, our beloved Pinky passed away peacefully of lung disease. She touched the souls of all she met, even those she knew for just moments. She was an avid horsewoman, singer, dancer, crafter, cook. Athletic in her youth, she rode motorcycles, water skied, played tennis. A brilliant homemaker and accomplished working woman, she retired from All American Asphalt as head of Dispatch in 2003, re-married and retired to Washington. She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and colleagues. Pre-deceased by her brother Hal Carmichael, survived by her husband Don Berg, son Bobby Davis, daughter-in-law Karen Weidner, son Danny Maynard, daughter-in-law Morgan Cronin, step daughter Katie Smith, brother Jack Carmichael, sister-in-law Grace Carmichael, brother David Carmichael, sister-in-law Sandy Carmichael, sister Niki Carmichael Murillo, brother-in-law Steven Murillo, many cousins, devoted nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
