Renate Crawford Obituary
RENATE JEANETTE "RONNIE" CRAWFORD Renate was born on August 23, 1943 in Aschaffenburg, Germany and passed away on January 23, 2015 in Corona, CA at 71 years young with her husband, son and daughter by her bedside. She came to the USA as a young girl, not being able to read, write or understand English. She took a lot of laughter and jokes because of her lack of English. She was so determined to become an American citizen that she learned the English language and American history so that she became a U.S. citizen legally while still in school. She was a wonderful wife and mother, who gave her full love unconditionally. She attended every soccer and softball game her daughter played and soccer and little league games her son played. Ronnie was very active in PTA while her children attended school and she was a friend to all. She had her own tax preparation business for 10 years making many more new friends. She married William "Bill" Crawford on March 17, 1973. She is survived by her husband of 42 years; a son, Dave; a daughter, Dawn; a step son, Randy; two step daughters, Cathy Beddard and Cheryl Stone; a brother in law, George Thurston and her loyal puppy, Peanut. A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:15 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery - 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518.Funeral Arrangements under the direction of Thomas Miller Mortuary and Crematory - Corona, CA. For more information or on line condolences please go to www.ThomasMillerMortuary.com I give you this one thought to keep. I am with you still - do not weep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone- I am with you still - in each new dawn.
