Richard Scott Lembke Obituary
RICHARD SCOTT LEMBKE, age 52 of Corona, California, ended his year and a half long fight against pancreatic cancer, while at home, when he passed from this life to return to his Heavenly Father in the arms of his loving wife, early Wednesday morning, August 19, 2015. He is survived by wife of 22 years, Della Papritz Lembke, and two young children at home, Kiralyn (7), Andrew (4); as well as Anthony Vernon Lembke, Elena Vaal Escobar (Marco), Lupita Vaal; and four grandchildren; also his mother, Vernes "Sandy" Bostic, and siblings: Craig Lembke, Ken Lembke, Heidi Kneip, Penny Schroeder, Bill Lembke, Mike Bostic, Chris Bostic, and 30 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father, Richard William Lembke. Rick had a life of service as a teacher for 18 years and as a missionary, youth leader, scout leader and high priest at church. He enjoyed golfing, tennis, backpacking and motorcycle riding. He loved his family, and playing, traveling, camping, RVing or watching old TV shows with them. Funeral service is on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1123 S. Lincoln Ave., Corona, with viewing 9:00-10:45 before service. Spanish translation will be provided. The family will have an intimate burial at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Riverside on a later date. See website: www.piercebroscrestlawn.com to offer condolences.
