Robert Alfaro Obituary
ALFARO, Robert "Bobby" Robert passed away peacefully of natural causes at his home on February 16, 2015. He was born in Riverside, CA, the youngest son of Aurelio and Maria Alfaro. He attended Ramona High School and Barber College. He obtained his barber's license. He initially worked as a barber then at Amoco in Casa Blanca. He married Lydia Guzman in 1968 and they were married 46 years. Together they raised three children. He was a devoted father and loving husband. In 1986, he began employment as a California Correctional Peace Officer. In search of a better life, he and his wife moved their family to Sacramento County and he lived there until his passing. He retired after serving 24 years as a Correctional Officer. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales and Divine Savior Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Aurelio and Maria Alfaro, sister Jenny Alfaro, and brother Rudy Alfaro. He is survived by his wife Lydia Alfaro; three children Bobby Jr. (Delfina), Erica, and Lydiana; four grandchildren; siblings Aurelio Alfaro Jr., Rose Potts, Alicia Rivera, Richard Alfaro, and Nancy Raya; numerous cousins and relatives. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Services will be held in a private ceremony for family.
