Robert Lyman Maxwell Obituary
ROBERT LYMAN MAXWELL Age 83, went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2013. Bob was born on December 31, 1929 in Eagle Rock, CA to Lyman and Marjorie Maxwell. He graduated from Banning High School in Willmington, CA in 1947. He met the love of his life, Lenora, in high school, and they married in 1953. Bob worked as a machinist at a propeller shop and at Atlantic Richfield in the Long Beach area, before moving his family to Yucaipa, CA and starting his own business, 4-M Company, a modular home transportation company. His many inventions have revolutionized the industry and are still being used to this day. He was able to pass his business down to his son and then start a development company which built AMPM markets, Del Taco restaurants, and other commercial projects. Bob's favorite hobby was being on his boat, the Senora Lenora, deep sea fishing. He loved going to his house in Bullhead City to spend time with his friends and family. He knew how to live life to its fullest, and his great sense of humor and huge heart will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Corbie Maxwell of Cherry Valley CA, and his son Bobby Maxwell and his wife Hali of Yucaipa, CA. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter Sharon Hall and sister Jean West. Funeral services will be held on April 13 at Oak Valley Church in Calimesa at 11am. Arrangements were entrusted to Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont, CA 951-845-1141 To leave condolences or sign the online Guest book, please visit www.weaver- mortuary.com
