ROBERT ROSALES, JR. (AKA "Bobby", "Rosy", "Kahuna", "Champ") Age 71, passed away at home from a heart attack on October 14, 2012. He was born on April 22, 1941 in Corona, CA and was a resident all of his life. He graduated from Corona Senior High School (CHS) in 1960. He was a brick mason for Wiseman Construction, La Habra, from 1962-1988; self-employed General Contractor - Brick Mason, Corona from 1988-2006. He was a member of the Bouncers Social Club (1960's to Present), Corona Cinco De Mayo Committee & Grand Marshall (1980's). Bob was a loved man who lived all of his life in Corona and was proud to be a Coronian. Bob was a talented brick layer and would be seen all around town driving his "red" truck, working or just stopping to visit a friend, neighbor or family member to say hi or see how they were. Bob and his wife, Di, were inseparable and loved being with family, friends, camping, attending social events. He loved telling stories of his bachelor days, memories of dating his wife and he was a proud uncle, nino, dad and "Papa". He loved all of his nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and friends, and they all loved him. Bob always gave of himself and never expected anything in return. Bob was a "great man". A wonderful father who put his family first and worked hard to provide for them. Robert is survived by is wife of 41 years, Diane "Di" Rosales, Corona; daughters, Amber Resnick (Rob, chi. Amanda and Conrad), Suzanne Nelson (Carlos, chi. Angelina and Andrew), Corona, and Rachelle Arispe (Anthony, chi. Alysia, Christina, Anthony Jr.), Riverside; son, Glen Rosales (Elaine, chi. Zoe), Mira Loma; parents: (late) Robert P. Rosales and Florence Arcy - Rosales; in-laws, William G. Cervantes and (late) Adeline G. Cervantes; brothers/ sisters-in-law, Danny Cervantes (Stella), William G. Cervantes Jr. (Cecilia), Jimmy Cervantes (Beverly), Cathy Silva (Sabino), David Cervantes; only surviving uncle Tony Arcy, Pomona; and 8 grandchildren. SERVICES: Thursday, October 18, 2012: Celebration of Life 11am, Rosary 11:30am, Mass 12pm at St. Edward Catholic Church, 415 W. Grand Blvd., Corona. Interment immediately following at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside. Reception to follow. Please visit: www.piercebroscrestlawn.com to offer condolences.
