Rudy passed away on March 13, 2017, at his home in Murrieta, CA.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rodolfo Navarro, Sr, and Piedad Bustamante Navarro. Born in Laredo, Texas, November 23, 1952. Rudy grew up in Compton, California, attending school in Downey and Cerritos.
Rudy spent the majority of his life in law enforcement. He held closest to his heart his early career with L.A.P.D. He worked the Gang Unit in South Central L.A., and later as a gang homicide detective. He transferred to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department in 1990, working the Temecula area for ten years. At the time of his passing, he was employed by San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
Rudy was a devoted and loving family man. He enjoyed traveling, especially Hawaii. Any day spent at the beach was a perfect one for him.
Rudy is survived by his loving wife; Judy, adored daughters, Julie D'Amato, husband, Dustin, Natalie Breazeale, husband, Justin, and Bianca Navarro; Grandchildren, Kobe, Devyn, Skyler, Gianna, Nico and Mia; two brothers, Gustavo and Jose Navarro, and stepchildren, Bill Manning and Holly Eller.
No funeral services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
