RONALD DALE ZOPF went home to The Lord on December 16, 2014. He was born on July 29, 1934. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Zopf, of 60 years, a sister, Frances Abbott, 2 daughters, 3 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons. He grew up in Minnesota and loved telling his children about the cold, snow, and riding his pony to school. Ron and Peggy were teenage sweethearts, after marriage they moved to California in 1955. Ron served in the US Air Force during the cold war era, in the 15th Reconnaissance Technical Squadron at March Air Force Base. He later became a pilot and owned and operated Inland Aerial Surveys, Inc. in Riverside, CA. He was a wonderful pilot and loved flying. He was a member of The Magnolia Church and also the Gideons. He especially loved giving out Gideon Bibles to young people. A graveside service is Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Riverside National Cemetery at 9:45 AM.
