Ronald Wilson House Obituary
RONALD WILSON HOUSE passed away November 3, 2015. He was born April 5, 1943 In Indianapolis Indiana. In the late 50's, Ron's family relocated to California, settling in Covina. Ron was a 1961 graduate of Charter Oak High School. He attended Mt. San Antonio College, graduating from Whittier college with a BS in History. In 1966, Ron started as a Claims Adjuster at Fireman's Fund Insurance in Los Angeles. He then went on to work at Fireman's Fund Santa Ana as a Claims Supervisor and opening the office of Fireman's Fund Insurance in Ontario. He retired from Fireman's Fund in 1993. He then went on to open the Claims office in Riverside of Sedgwick CMS. He retired as Vice President in 2002. After retirement Ron moved to Washington State and Idaho. He loved those states, but, unfortunately, health problems caused him to move back to Southern California in 2013. Ron's hobbies were Barbershop Quartet music and was an assistant director of the Pomona Valley Chapter of Barbershop Chorus. He was Barbershopper of the year 1969. He was a choir director at the Methodist church for 25 years. He loved HO trains, and anything to do with trains. He enjoyed traveling on trains, cruising, and Vince's Spaghetti. He enjoyed anything to do with WW II, and the planes of that era. He enjoyed making model planes and ships. His favorite thing in the world was hanging out with his beloved brother Mike. Ron was predeceased by his father Leo Wilson House, his mother Susan House, his beloved brother Michael House, and his twin boys Stephen Wilson House and Charles Michael House. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Bubb; his grandson Shane Matthew Barthle (Elissa Ramirez); his granddaughter Jennifer Breezy Bubb and his great granddaughter Miss Lily Nowell Barthle. He is also survived by his Uncle and Aunt Bill and Jean Sims of Indianapolis, and numerous nieces and nephews in both California and Indiana. He is also survived by his special cousin Shauna (Dick) Wilkins. The family would like to thank Julinda's Home Care in Fontana for thier love and care of Ron during the past difficult 22 months. Services were private.
