Rosalie Ammerman

ROSALIE AMMERMAN Age 81, went to be with Our Lord, Wednesday, February 20th, 2013 peacefully at her home in Lake Elsinore, California with her children and family at her side. Born February 9th, 1932, Rosalie was the middle daughter of Calvin and Enid Ammerman of Dana, Indiana, third of four children. She was outgoing and loved by anyone she met. Graduating from Dana High School in 1950 she went on to attend Indiana State Teachers College, now Indiana State University, studying Theater Arts. Rosalie joined the Community Theater of Terre Haute where she met and briefly married the community theater co-founder, bon vivant impresario and local haberdasher, Lester E. Wolf. After this union ended, Rosalie, then an undergraduate in 1954, met and subsequently married in 1955, future television anchorman Joseph Benti. Rosalie relinquished her education, returning to work in support of Joseph's career. Her sacrifice went unrewarded as their ill-fated marriage ended in 1974. Joseph and Rosalie's three children survive her. Her marriage with Mr. Wolf produced no children. Rosalie was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Jerusalem Chapter 254 Clinton, Indiana and more recently a member of the Palleteers Art Group, Lake Elsinore California. Preceded in death by her parents, eldest sister Bonnie Lou Knowles, brother Calvin Ammerman. Survivors include sister Betty Hines, children, Wynne Benti, Breann Benti, Edmund Bentivengo, "second son" Hien Tran, grandson Justin Benti, numerous nieces and nephews. A loving woman, always there for her children despite at times arduous events, Rosalie was a friend of the Muses and now walks the boards with angels. Services to be announced.
