Ruby Jean Koellisch Obituary
In loving memory of RUBY JEAN KOELLISCH of Corona, California. Ruby passed away on June 30, 2015. Preceeded in death by parents Clesta and Norman Thomas, brothers Clay, Norman, and Bob, and sister Delores and her husband of 40 years, Jerry. Ruby is survived by brother Rolan and his wife Barb, sister Esta, sister in law Mary Ann, son Mike and daughter in law Sherry, daughter Patti, step children Scott and Roberta, and grandchildren Will, Joe, Missy, Jake, Nikki, and Gabby, and great granddaughter Dakota, and many other loved ones. Ruby was born in Oklahoma in 1932 and moved with her family to California in 1944. She was at various times a farmer, home crafter, quilter, seamstress, gardener, home cook, camper, traveler and tourist, poet, photographer, junior Girl Scout leader, fisherman, player of board games, reader, county grand juror, bingo player, soother of pains of body and heart, volunteer and vocal advocate, reliable friend, and gatherer of family and friends. Ruby cared for others as her own. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Corona, the Ladies Elks-Lodge 2045 of Corona, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, AT&T Pioneers, and the Green River ladies coffee club. We will hold her in our hearts until we meet with her again, and until that day, remain thankful for the many blessings from having her in our lives. Her life will be celebrated on August 30th at the Green River Mobile Home Park clubhouse in Corona at 3pm, reception immediately follows. For tissue paper flowers, ballerina dreams, being my hero, honesty and guidance, friendship, so much love, through lean and plenty teaching me to be strong and faithful to what is good, and always loving me, love you forever, Patti.
