Sharon Irene Gingrich passed from this life on January 3, 2017. Born in Los Angeles, California on September 24, 1942, to Fred and Irene Watts, Sharon graduated from Franklin High School in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles in 1960. Sharon worked at The Hofbrau in Costa Mesa, California where she met the love of her life, Richard Henry Gingrich. The two were married in 1964. Sharon gave birth to two girls, Cheryle Lee (Gingrich) Hodge of Indian Wells, California, and Susan Lynn Gingrich of Big Bear Lake, California. Sharon flourished as a homemaker and mother, partner with Richard in his business, and team co-leader of her daughters' BMX bicycle racing exploits. She was very artistic, excelling at painting, poetry and short-story writing. She lived the last 30 years of her life in the Lake Elsinore-Wildomar area. She loved her family very deeply, her husband, her daughters and grandchildren. She loved watching movies with her children and grandchildren, cooking, listening to music and bonfires at the beach. She also loved her dogs. Sharon is survived by her husband, Richard, and daughters Cheryle (husband Bill) and Susan, and grandchildren Will Hodge of Woodland, California and Allyson Hodge of Indian Wells. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Isabelle Rose, of Woodland. Sharon has been interred at Westminster Memorial Park in Westminster, CA.
