Stella Crane Obituary
STELLA CRANE 1/5/1925-12/25/2013 Stella passed away peacefully on Christmas morning at Orange Tree Nursing Center in Riverside. Stella was born in East London, South Africa to Charles and Maud Jubber. She also lived in Zimbabwe (then Southern Rhodesia), Manchester, England, and Alberta, Canada. She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Lance Jubber (Husband of June Jubber) of Johannesburg, South Africa, and Melvin Jubber (husband of Elaine Jubber) of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Stella and her husband, Don Crane (10/19/1923 8/2/1981), moved to California in 1958. They had four children: Donald Crane (10/12/19489/2/2013), Barbara (Crane) Jensen, Larry Crane, and Sandra (Crane) Andersen. They also had 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Stella had many talents and interests, including music, sewing, knitting, needlework, cake decorating and calligraphy. She was an accomplished pianist and organist. Above all she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and friend. Stella was a member of the La Sierra Heights ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 11, at 11:00 am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5840 Mitchell Ave, Riverside, 92505.
