STUART G. "FLETCH" FLETCHER Stuart G. "Fletch" Fletcher slipped from this world into the arms of his Savior on October 18, 2013. He died surrounded by family after a lengthy illness. Born in El Paso, Texas, on June 24, 1954, Stuart was predeceased by his parents, John and Eleanore. He leaves behind his two serviceman sons: John (Elizabeth) with daughter Victoria (3); and Scott (Brittany) with daughters Jessica (5), Rebecca (4), and Katherine (1). Also grieving his passing are his three brothers, Kenneth (Sharon), Phillip (Vicki), and Jeffery (Jeanne), and his good friend Kimberlee. Stuart loved all things Scottish, the Dallas Cowboys, and the sea. From his youth, he gave vent to his passion for acting, most recently with the Footlighters Theater in Redlands. A graduate of Granada Hills High School, Stuart went on to earn a Bachelor's from CSU at Northridge and a Master's from University of Phoenix. Starting as a Magic Mountain security guard, he worked his way up in the field, and shortly before his death had retired as Director of Safety for the Dignity Health organization of hospitals. At Stuart's request, he will have no formal service. Rather, anyone who wishes to join his family for a Celebration of Life party is welcome on Saturday, November 9, starting at 11:00 a.m., at 7428 Kellogg Avenue, Twentynine Palms. If you wish, you may honor his memory by making a donation to the Stuart G. Fletcher CHPA Study Program Scholarship Fund.
