Timothy Streeter Obituary
TIMOTHY STREETER Sunrise March 14, 1952 - Sunset September 2, 2016 Timothy Streeter was born March 14, 1952, to the late Phillip Streeter and Dorothy Mae Streeter, as one of five children. Tim was raised by the late Fannie Mae Mason and Roy H. Mason Sr. his biological uncle. Tim graduated from Eisenhower High School in Rialto in 1970 where he held numerous football and track records. He went on to graduate from the University of Redlands in 1974 where he majored in Business. While attending, he continued to break football records and developed a lifelong love of rugby. Tim was inducted into the University of Redlands Intercollegiate Athletic Hall of Fame, April 18, 1991. His accomplishments include: Little All American - 1973, All Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference - 1972, 1973, and All National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics District III - 1972, 1973. He still holds the record for most rushing attempts in an individual season. Tim pursued a career in banking and went on to hold the title of Chief Credit Officer. He was extremely hard working and developed close relationships with his colleagues. He continued to work for Pacific Premier Bank up to his Sunset. After a long hard fight, Tim succumbed to his battle and was admitted into the Ultimate Hall of Fame on September 2, 2016. Tim was preceded in death by his two older brothers Phillip Streeter and Oanthal Streeter. He is survived by his sister Carolyn Streeter and brothers Roy Lynn Streeter and Roy Mason Jr. Tim leaves Carol Streeter his loving wife of 15 years. He also leaves his three outstanding children Courtney, Cameron, and Colin Streeter. Courtney graduated from San Jose State University, majored in Forensic Chemistry, and is now a Forensic DNA Analyst. Cameron graduated from the University of Southern California, majored in Business, and is now in sales at Oracle. Colin Streeter graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans, majored in Music Industries, and is now practicing his trade. Tim also leaves behind nieces Tamara Mason and Marissa Streeter, nephews Anthony Mason who preceded him and Matthew Mason, and a long line of cousins and dear friends. Tim Streeter will be remembered as a man's man, a stand-up guy, and an all around friend. Whether he knew you well or not, he would step up to help anybody that he could with his kind, big heart. As you know, you could dress him up or down but he was always comfortable in his skin and environment. We, the family, thought it appropriate to send him forward dressed in his USC golf shirt, along with his favorite shorts and sandals. Tim will be accompanied in the Hereafter by his treasured college mascot, a University of Redlands bulldog. Tim's casket is adorned with green tomatoes as an additional tribute to Tim's love of gardening Tim's honorary pallbearers who will escort him are: brother Roy Lynn Streeter, brother Roy H, Mason Jr., nephew Antonio Shaheed, cousin Frank Freeman Jr., and dear friend Dick Shelboum. Pallbearers: Colin Streeter, Cameron Streeter, Matthew Mason, Jeremy Pendergast, Kerry Pendergast, and Tony Easterling.
