Tony Cardoza Obituary
TONY CARDOZA, husband, father, brother, friend, dairyman, died on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in San Diego, CA after a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, daughters and brother, David. Tony was born to Antonio and Florence Cardoza on November 15, 1949 in Torrance, California. He was raised on dairy farms and ultimately took over the family business as a teenager. He was passionate about his work even as it evolved out of farming. Tony was a kind, unfailingly generous, dignified man whose smile lit up the room. He was also a man of strong faith and when things got rough you could count on him saying, "Just hand it over to God." He loved the Dodgers, breakfast, and spending time with his family. His life was dedicated to others and he will be remembered for being a wonderful example of a life lived fully through being truly genuine, loving and present to those he surrounded himself with. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Florence Cardoza and mother and father-in-law, Doris and Merwyn Roseth. His spirit is carried on by his wife of 44 years, Kathy Cardoza; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Nick Weiss; daughter and son-in-law, Natal and Jeremy Nelson; daughter and son-in-law, Noelle Cardoza-Randolph and Harold Randolph; daughter, Narissa Cardoza and fianc‚ Martin Ventress; grandchildren; Claire and Will Weiss, Sage and Willow Nelson, and Sloane Randolph, and siblings; Rosalie Silveira, Arline Silveira, Lorraine Postma, David and Debbie Cardoza and Norman Cardoza plus many nieces, nephews and friends he considered family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 at El Prado Golf Course in Chino. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at http://pulmonaryfibrosis.donorpages.com/Tribute/TonyCardoza/
