VINCENT MICHAEL RAY went home to the Lord on April 13, 2015. Vincent was born in San Diego, CA on August 29, 1958. His family moved to Corona, CA in 1963, where he attended local schools. During 6th grade at Coronita Elementary School, Vincent was a recipient of the first Presidential Physical Fitness Award, as well as awards for football and basketball. He also played in Corona's first Pop Warner football league as a member of the Corona Rams team. Vincent graduated from Corona High School in 1976, and continued his education by obtaining an Associate in Science Degree from Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA in 1994. Vincent not only worked as a mechanic for the Corona Norco School District, but went on to become one of the School District's graphic designers creating many different logos and murals. This led to his own professional graphic design business, VMR Graphics, where he worked for the past 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Muratore-Ray of Corona; his mother, Arlene Ray of Corona; his brother, Michael Ray & wife Lalia of Corona; his sister, Shirley Montejano & husband George of Riverside; his brother, Chris Ray & wife Beatrice of Riverside; 8 nephews & nieces; and 7 great nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 20, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Family Worship Center, 804 S. Lincoln Ave., Corona, CA, with reception immediately following at the church.
