Virginia Bustamante Obituary
VIRGINIA BUSTAMANTE Age 57, of Rialto, passed peacefully on July 9, 2013. She was born at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana on October 20, 1955 to Antonio "Tony" Sandoval and Dolores "Lola" Diaz. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jerry Bustamante; sons Michael, Robert "Bobby", Anthony; daughter Graciela "Grace" Bustamante; grandchildren: Nicholas "Nico" 16, Esmie 10, Layla 8, Xavier 10, Elixah 8, Lola 4, and 2 year old Iliana (our antidepressant); sister Dorothy Wolfinbarger; brother Michael Sandoval; sister-in-law Ramona Sandoval; and many other nephews and nieces. Virginia served at the University of California Riverside where she worked for 37 years. In 1981 she became a part of the Graduate Division where she served for 30 years under six deans. Virginia was the primary support for the Graduate Council and Academic Senate. She was well known and loved on campus. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Green Acres Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave. Bloomington, CA. A mass will be held on Thursday at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 N. Sycamore Ave. The funeral and reception will follow the mass.
