Virginia Chambless Obituary
1953 - 2017
Daughter of Berna & Ray Leland, Ginger was called home to the Lord on March 31. A Riverside native, she graduated from Ramona High in 1971 and worked most of her life in the auto finance industry. Among local automotive dealers, she is fondly remembered for bringing homemade baked goods to dealership staff.
Ginger loved to cook and entertain and enjoyed being around a table for conversation and good company with loved ones. She drew strength from her family's affection and her Christian faith, and she will be remembered for her generosity and cheerful spirit. Ginger is survived by nephews Jayson Leland and Rick Leland; niece Brandi Hollenbeck; cousin Steve Leland; and five grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 28 at 11am
at Harvest Church, 6115 Arlington Ave., Riverside. A reception will immediately follow at 1pm at American Legion Hall at Lake Evans, 2979 Dexter Dr., Riverside. Kindly email [email protected] if you will attend the reception. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions to Alzheimer's Foundation (www.alzfdn.org) in memory of Ginger Chambless.
