Wanda J. Nolan Obituary
WANDA J. NOLAN Wanda J. Nolan passed peacefully on June 20, 2013 in Redding, Calif., at the age of 89. She was born in Auburn, Iowa on July 18, 1923 to Ollie Hazel and William H. Crandall. She lived in Lake Elsinore for many years where she and her late husband Phillip Wagner raised their three sons, James, Darrel and John. In 1995, Wanda was preceded in death by her second husband, Thomas (Tim) H. Nolan of Lake Elsinore, Calif. After the death of Thomas H. Nolan, Wanda moved to Redding, California to be close to her sons, Phillip Darrel of Redding and John, who resides in Chico. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Doris Green of Lake Elsinore, Calif. While in Elsinore, Wanda worked at the Stokes Jewelry Store, the drugstore, and in the DMV Division at the First National Bank. She took great joy in her family, and in getting together with friends for fun and laughter. She is survived by a sister, Hazel Chandler of Washington; a brother, Gloyd Crandall of Escondido, Calif.; and a half-sister, Carol Copple of Colorado. In addition to her three sons, she is survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four nieces. Interment will take place at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, Calif., on July 29, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. A celebration of Wanda's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice in Wanda's honor.
