WAYNE EARL FOUTTY, known to his friends and family as "Wayno", was born on August 10, 1938 in New England, West Virginia to the late Dane and Hilda Foutty. Wayne grew up in Beaver, Pennsylvania, and in 1956 he enlisted in the US Marine Corps at 17 years old. He specialized as a helicopter mechanic and was promoted to crew chief. Wayne was very proud of his service to our country as a US Marine from 1956 - 1962. After his service in the Marines Wayne moved to Orange County, California and with his Uncle; Harry Foutty of Pomona, CA, he learned the roofing business. Wayne went on to start his own business, Wayne Roofing Company in Orange, CA. In the mid-1980s he moved the business to Norco, CA. Through the years Wayne enjoyed RV trips with family and friends, camping, fishing and hunting along with trips to Glamis and Lake Havasu. He loved riding in the desert in his sand rail and boating along the Colorado River. He has been a resident of Norco, CA for the last 32 years and enjoyed working around his property and taking care of his animals. We love you Dad and we will miss you so much. Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved son Anthony of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Debra J. and Dan Minkus of Rochester, PA, daughter and son in law Tracy and Steven Collins of Corona, CA, daughter and son in law Elizabeth and Russell Royal of Norco, CA, three granddaughters Jennifer, Haley and Hannah, and three great-grandchildren Kylie, Rebekah, and Matthew. He is also survived by his sister Charlotte Irey of Holly Hill, FL and brother Kevin Foutty of Pittsburgh, PA. Wayne passed away on December 26, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, CA after a battle with melanoma cancer. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Tuesday January 6th at 9:15 am.
