WILLIAM A. RECORD, JR. December 14, 1954 - January 14, 2013 "Bill" Record, Jr., 58, passed away peace- fully at his mother's home in Citrus Heights, CA. Bill was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. Born in San Luis Obispo, CA., Bill was the eldest son of William A. Record, Sr. and Janice Record. Bill is survived by his mother Janice Record; soul mate Patricia "Putter" Plumb; daughter Tawny Willis Castillo and grandson Cole; son Christopher Willis; son James Prater; sister Teresa Dinterman and niece Raylie; brother Vince Record and nieces Ashley Burger and Taylor Record; and many cousins. Bill was raised on the family dairy farm in San Jacinto, CA. Bill's love of trucks became a driving career that spanned 40 years, giving him the freedom to experience the things in life he was passionate about. An adventurous spirit, Bill lived more life in his 58 years than most. He was a man of remarkable wit and wisdom, honed from a life filled with both challenges and triumphs, who found humor in every circumstance. Bill was not materialistic, but measured his wealth in true friendships. those established not for monetary gain, but for the sake of friendship itself. Bill was also a resourceful man, able to fix anything, and one that appreciated the beauty of the world around him, which he captured in his many photographs. Bill's friends and family will gather on Sat, Feb. 16th, 2013 in Hemet from 2-5pm. On Sun, Feb. 17th, a final good-bye and reflection will take place at the Bill Thelen Ranch in Aguanga from 12-5pm.
