William F. Easley Obituary
WILLIAM F. EASLEY, 81, passed away December 29, 2014, at Loma Linda University Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle. Bill was born in Lima, Ohio, served in the Army, and was a resident of the San Bernardino area for 69 years. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, friend, community leader, and example to anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be dearly missed and in our hearts forever. Bill was a CPA for 50 years, was the co-owner and CFO for G/M Business Interiors for 28 years with his son, Stephen, and was an entrepreneur involved in numerous businesses. Bill loved bicycling with his friends, swimming, golfing and flying his plane. He was a member of Arrowhead Country Club, Inland Action, member and past-president of California Society of CPAs, American Institute of CPAs and served on many boards and committees. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rosemary; 5 children, Stephen Easley (Lauri) of Highland and their children Lauren and Stephen, David Easley of San Bernardino, Patricia Rhodes (Scott) of Rogersville, MO, and their children, Taylor Eaton, Kenny, Justin and Jacob Rhodes, Susan Stewart (Matthew) of Highland and their daughter, Samantha, John Easley (Stacey) of Highland and their children, Christopher and Chandler; 3 sisters, Virginia Collins, Margaret McMurry, and Dorothy Fromm; 2 brothers, Thomas Easley, and John Easley. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lora and Clarence Easley, and one brother, Carroll Easley. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6:00 7:00 PM and a Rosary held at 7:00 PM, both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N. Arrowhead Avenue, San Bernardino. Interment will follow at Montecito Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bill's honor to the Inland Empire Biking Alliance (www.iebike.org) or the (www.cancer.org/donate).
