William "Bill" Farrow Obituary
WILLIAM "BILL" FARROW William "Bill" Farrow passed away at home in Nuevo, CA on December 22, 2013. Bill was born in Renton, Washington on October 2, 1927 to John Farrow and Gladys Fuller Farrow. Bill graduated from Renton High School in 1945 and was a U.S. Marine from 1945 to 1949. He served as chauffeur to the Base Commander at Naval Station Treasure Island. He married Kathryn "Kay" Sanford on June 22, 1947 in San Francisco. They had two daughters, Kathleen and Colleen. The family moved to Pomona, California in 1956 where Bill worked for General Dynamics, until his retirement. In 1972, Bill received an Associate of Science degree from Mt San Antonio College. In 1978 Bill married Sonya Clark. They moved to Nuevo, California in 1982, where they lived on an acre of land with many beloved dogs and cats. For more than 25 years after retirement, Bill took a part time job at Paradise Knolls Golf Course where he indulged his love of golf. He played golf at least four days a week until shortly before his death. He was also in bowling leagues his entire adult life, carrying a 190 average in the prime of his life. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Kay, his parents and his brother, Tom. He is survived by wife, Sonya; his daughters Kathleen Aaron of Riverside, Colleen Farrow of Apple Valley Minnesota; grandson Adam Aaron of Fullerton; good friend JoAnn Landeros and his beloved Chihuahua, Sweet Pea. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Paradise Knolls Golf Course, Riverside, CA.
