William Zoumbos Obituary
WILLIAM A. ZOUMBOS, of Loma Linda, CA, passed away on February 4, 2015. Bill was born in Illinois 80 years ago and was the third of three children born to his warm and loving Greek parents. His sister, Mary died in 2006; his brother Nickolas and sister-in-law Arlene survive him. Bill obtained a BA in political science from Western Illinois University and did graduate work at the University of Illinois at Ubana-Champaine. On moving to California in 1959, he landed a job with Farmers Insurance and enjoyed a long and successful career as a claims adjuster before his retirement. Bill's generosity, humor, thoughtfulness and good company will be missed. He was a member of St. Elias Greek Orthodox Church in Colton. He will be inurned at Montecito Memorial Park. At his request, no services are planned. Bill was a strong believer in education. Anyone wishing to donate to Bill's memory by helping foster youth pursuing higher education at Cal Sate, may send a memorial donation to: California State University, San Bernardino, Attn.
