Carolyn Misako Dudley of Sequim, passed away at her home on February 17, 2021. She was 72.
Carolyn was born April 29, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to parents Kiyoshi and Aiko Kiyabu. She married Lawrence (Larry) Dudley January 1, 1985.
Carolyn graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1966 and earned a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Hawaii. While in college, Carolyn served in the Naval Reserves from 1966 to 1970.
Carolyn retired from Northrop Grumman in 2002 after 30 years of service. Larry and Carolyn moved to Fernwood, Idaho, where she became the Fire Commissioner and made many friends.
Larry and Carolyn moved to Sequim in 2010, where she was involved in many activities including, Hula group, trivia on Sundays at the Oasis, going to the casino, bunko and game nights with friends. She also recently became involved with the Port Angeles Pistol Club.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; their five children, Laura (Jeffery), Krista, and Aaron (Chrisslynn). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Riley, Brooke, Daniel, Ryley, Logan, Grayson, Lacey, Kailer, and Bryson; brothers, Richard, Roy and Mervin; her sister, Lorraine and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and her Auntie Lorraine.
Carolyn will be remembered as the best wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that anybody could ask for. She could always be counted on to listen to someone in need and she would help in any way that she could. Carolyn will always be greatly loved, and missed by her husband, family and friends.
