Enid Eliza "Beth" Humphrey (1950 - 2018)

The Guest Book is expired.

Beth passed away at Crestwood after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis, with her daughter by her side. Born at Olympic Memorial Hospital in Port Angeles, the oldest of five children, she started her life in Gales Addition, until the family grew and moved to the family farm (Windy Acres) in Agnew.

Beth graduated from Sequim High School in 1968. After graduation, she attended beauty school in Tacoma, where she met Jack Pratt who was stationed in the army. They married at the Agnew Helpful Neighbors Hall, then moved to Youngstown, Ohio, where they had three children. Divorced in 1978, Beth came "home". 1980 brought a fourth child, from Roy Dale Humphrey, whom Beth would marry in 1987. Beth was a mother to her children and a mom to many others than her own. She was very busy with all the school and after-school activities and weekends with band, football, scouts, and she spent a lot of time at the hospital with all the resulting injuries. She was always available to help out on the farm with grandma's house-canning, wrapping meats, picking veggies, and farmer's market for pop. Beth worked various jobs in her life (7 Cedars/Tempest), but her most fulfilling was being a Grammy. Her grandchildren were her "more the rest her everything."

Beth is preceded in death by her parents Betty and Richard Heilman, her husbands, her brother Alan Heilman, her granddaughter Elizabeth Pratt, and her daughter Megon Jones. She leaves behind her sister Carlita Heilman, her brothers Clint (Angie) and Gary (April) Heilman, her sons Shane (Vicki) and Brandon (Wendy) Pratt, her daughter Gabrielle Rutherford, nephews Johnathon, Christopher, Richard, Kevin Heilman, Corey Larson, niece Kandi Heilman, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family, and her grandchildren Ricky, Ashley Rutherford, Dominic, Shane, Kaitlyn, Alaina, Payge Pratt, Ty, Lia, and Izzy Jones.

Linde-Price was in charge of the cremation.

Beth was an incredible baker, so mix up your favorite dessert and join the family and friends for a simple get-together to remember Bethie on Sunday, August 19th at the Clallam County Veteran's Center (3rd and Francis St.) in Port Angeles from 1-3 pm.
