Kim was an integral part of our track team's 4 X 100 relay at Harrisburg High and an awesome cheerleader. She was the epitome of Cougar Pride, always laughing, smiling, and holding it down to demonstrate her school spirit. I am a better person for knowing Kim and will never forget her commitment to our school and community. Love you, Kim.

I like to express my deepest condolences to Kim's Children and Family praying on bended knees for comfort and strength during this bereavement time. Kim shined bright like a diamond to my family, I would be remiss if I didn't say here, how Kim was a true Angel here on Earth, Kim was my cousin Gary Gaston nurse for nine years and our friend before he got ALS, she was his nurse off and on when they rotated her shift, she would still check on him. When she worked she would groom him shampoo his hair she would put lotions and oils on him she would comfort him with fresh gowns music sing and dance for him make him smile because he's been in bed 9 years can't talk can't move his arms and legs and she showered him with dignity and respect made him feel special. My sister Marie James Bowers asked me to send her deepest sincere condolences because she would be there most of time when Kim would pop in to check on Gary and he would light up with big smiles when she entered the room, she helped him suffer less made him feel special and we will be eternally grateful for her. Kim knew Gary before he took ill and she wanted him to know that all your so called friends that don't come visit you at all with all their excuses because they make it about them they can't handle seeing you, she said they didn't have a problem coming to your house eating your food drinking your spirits, riding in your cars, she said a true friend ride or die together no matter what! like Dennis Coleman he's a true friend. Kim kept it real she said as long as I can come to see you Gary I will be here for you and true to her words Kim was there for Gary until she couldn't because she was ill, sometimes she wasn't assign to him but she would check on him clean him up, then tell nurses assign to him off, do your job stop running your mouths, he shouldn't be like I just found him, and I will report you. Our family really truly appreciated Kim and she knew how we needed her and loved her, she even comfort us made us smile and have faith too. Because Kim was our Angel too. When we had to leave nursing home at night doors closed, if Kim worked she was our eyes and ears and that's when Gary was most vulnerable. We believe that he has lived this long because of Kim and few other Angels nurses that work there who really cares and love him. Rest In Peace Kim you're beautiful kind loving caring nurturing Angel we were so Blessed to know you as a friend first, you will be truly missed by so many patients and staff at the nursing home ..God Bless, your Family, Sincerely Thank You The Gaston's and James's Family gone but never forgotten!

To the family, I was very saddened by the loss of my sister/friend! We knew each other as long as we knew ourselves. Went to school from kindergarten to 12th grade. The sense of loss is great, but knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord gives me comfort. No more pain my friend! I love you Kimberly Hope Corbin! Until we meet again!

I was so saddened to hear of Kim's passing. I haven't seen Kim in several years, but every time we would run into each other it was always with a smile and hug. I have many great memories of Kim. Another classmate gone too soon.

Since our days in elementary school where we met for the first time, Kim was a special person and friend.
Moving back to Harrisburg in 1969 was a tough experience for me as a kid. I was shy and didn't have any friends. But Kim was one of the first to reach out to me in friendship, and I Ioved her for that.
Over the years I don't care where I would see her, we would always stop and talk at length to catch up on each other's lives. She was one of those rare spirits that would ask how you were doing and really would want to know. She brought beauty, light and positive energy everywhere she went, and I am just one of many who are so lucky to have known her and will miss her.
So long for now, Kim. We'll catch up on the other side.
