Richard M. Waltimyer, age 77, of Hamilton Twp., NJ, passed away surrounded by his loving family March 19, 2020 in the RWJ/Hamilton Hospice Facility. Born in Spring Twp., PA, Richard "Dick" lived in the Hamilton NJ area for over 55 years. Dick graduated from Cumberland Valley High School class of 1961. He retired after 40 years from the Aramark Food Service Corp. as a food service director. He enjoyed golfing with his son and friends. He enjoyed many trips to Myrtle Beach with family and friends. Dick was a die-hard Mets and Jets fan. He enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Esther Hoffman Waltimyer; a sister, Sandra Casaday, a sister-in law, Lena Waltimyer, and a nephew Jeremy Miller. Dick is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Brenda Koontz Waltimyer; two daughters, Bonnie and spouse Sam Howells of Hamilton; Debra Goehrig of Melissa, TX; a son and spouse, John and Melinda Waltimyer of Lakehurst, NJ; a brother, Larry Waltimyer of Duncannon, PA; two sisters, Barbara Waltimyer and Donna Miller of West Valley City, UT; Wanda Waltimyer of Carlisle, PA; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pennsylvania calling hours will be Thursday March 26 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Hollinger Funeral Home in Mt Holly, PA, with burial following at Kutz's Cemetery in Carlisle, PA with Pastor Stacey Goodling officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

You will be greatly missed. We will your smile, your generosity, your great cooking and your dedication to your family. You are one of the best brothers a girl could want. I will miss the time we spent together both in Utah and New Jersey. Sorry we did not make it to San Francisco and Mt Rushmore. Give mom, dad, Sandy and Jeremy a hug for me. I will always miss you.

Mr. Waltimyer was such a nice man. I grew up down the street and I remember him always with a smile. He will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Waltimyer and the family.
