Camaron Wayne Ehlers


Camaron Wayne Ehlers went to his heavenly home on January 21, 2013. Camaron was born September 12, 1992 in Pensacola Florida. He graduated from Escambia-Westgate in 2012. Camaron was a recipient of the 2007 Cox Inspirational Hero Award.

Camaron was surrounded by his family when he saw his Jesus face to face. Camaron is survived by his parents David Ehlers (Carolyn) and Sarah Elhoffer; brothers, Michael Ehlers, Jeff Rohrer (Tiffany); sister Jennifer Skala (Derek); grandparents David & Lois Ehlers; niece Nicole Deus; nephews Gavin and Logan Rohrer, and his many aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank Camaron's nephrologist, Dr. Edward Kohaut and his staff especially Jeanne Bergeron and Paula Thorpe and for the 15 years of excellent and compassionate care they provided for him.

The family would like to also thank Sacred Heart and Covenant Hospice for their care and support during this difficult time and notably, his hospice nurse Ingrid Carlson.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 25, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Dr. Gregory McBride officiating. Interment will follow at 10:15 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South on Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
