She was a lifelong dedicated member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. That same year in November she married Will J Fullilove III, also a school teacher and cattle rancher of Bossier City LA at her parent's home in Shreveport LA.
They moved to Pensacola FL in 1968 where they raised their 2 children and taught in the Escambia County School System. She joined the Audobon Society with her husband and went on many birdwatching trips, even to Central America and the Caribbean.
After her first husband passed, she continued her love of world travel, and then met and married William Hugh Tindell in 1998.
