Pensacola - Grady Clausell Williams

October 29, 1932 - June 8, 2018

Grady Clausell Williams went home to be with the Lord on June 8. He was the youngest of seven children born to Murray and Eunice Williams, in Cedartown, Florida. Grady is preceded in death by three brothers (Arthur, Fred, and Alton) and two sisters (Pearlie and Addie). Grady earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Florida A&M University in 1957 and received an Army Commission. He served in the U.S. Army two years as a Tank Commander. Grady went on to work 34 years as a teacher, and school administrator in the Escambia County Public School System. He loved and adored his family and is lovingly survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean; their three children; & their spouses, Tony & Sharon, Bruce &Adrian, Cheryl & O.J. and thirteen grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister and brothers-in-law, Bernice & Edward Scott; Col. Charles Washington, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation Tuesday at the funeral home from noon-5 p.m., also on Wednesday, at 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Bethel AME Church, 511 Woodland Dr., with Rev Clifton Riley officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery with BENBOE FUNERAL HOME directing.
