Dear Sandy,

I was saddended to learn of the passing of Jimmy. I am sorry that it took so long for me to discover this sad event. I have many vivid memories of him and throughout the years I have often thought of him. I knew that he would be a good husband for you and that he would be be a caring and successful MD. I will miss him and I will keep a special place in my heart for the both of you.

I am so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I just spoke to my mom on the phone and hearing about his passing brought me to tears. I am thankful for his life and the impact that both you and he have had on my life (and my mom). You and the entire family are in my prayers. We have lost a good doctor and a great person. I am truly sorry for your loss. If you need anything, my mom and I are here for you, even if that is just a shoulder to cry on or someone to sit and listen.

I was shocked this morning to read of Jim's passing!
I was a Cardio-Pulmonary Tech at Pensacola's Naval Hospital and worked very closely with Jim for a number of years. In fact, I was able to be involved with treating him when he actually came down with the measles and had some serious respiratory complications because of it. He was a great mentor and friend and, while I'm very saddened for his loss, I'm greatly encouraged to hear of his incredible faith in the LORD! This means I will be able to see him again and rejoice in the great impact he has had on so many other lives! My prayers are with all of the family and friends.

Jim would come into ICU shaking his head and saying " Poor old Dr Fay. What's happened now " He was a brilliant ,caring clinician Always ready to teach and share good times and bad. He was loved and respected by all the nurses, which is not an easy accomplishment. He will be missed as a truly good person and a truly good friend. My deepest condolences.

Sandy, my sincere condolences and HEARTFELT Sympathy to you. As I mourn with those of us who knew and loved James E.Fay, my heart rejoice in knowing that he is with our Savior.
Some of my favorite memories with Dr.Fay would the times when we would discuss our Sunday School lesson of the week. He made me seem as though I was a star pupil. I Thank God that he took the time to share his knowledge of Christ with me. Then I would smile at his rough and grumpy self as he rounded in the hospital, wearing his favorite necktie.
I thank him and you for always my office visits so pleasant.
Sandy, I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and you have God's promise of HOPE.
