Michael D. Edwards, 54, of Century, passed away July 3, 2014. He was a member of the He Jaz Shriners and 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rites. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, Poppa, brother and friend. Michael has been in the car business, that he loved, for forty years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Donald and Nancy Edwards and brother, "Big D" Donnie Edwards.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 25 years, Debra Edwards; son, Kevin (Jennifer) Edwards; daughters, Tera Reynolds, Tonya (Doug) Burmeister, and Tori (Adrian) Buggs; grandchildren, Tuesday, Mariah and Destiny Dewitt, Darian Reynolds, Hayden Robinson, AJ and Devynn Buggs, Justus and Jacob Matthews, Marc McCrary and Kamdyn Edwards; great- grandchild, Wednesday Johnson; sisters, Jan (Jeff) Alley and Leigh Ann (A.Y.) Harrison; sister-in-law, Nancy Edwards and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service started at 4:00 pm at Faith Chapel North. Donald Adams and Paul Simpson lead the service.
