Hermon Lefate Rigby

Hermon Lefate Rigby entered eternal life on November 23, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola. Mr. Rigby was born in Escambia County, Alabama on July 31, 1933.
Mr. Rigby graduated from Ernest Ward High School. He married Patricia Rigby May 3, 1952. He entered the US Air Force where he served his country in telecommunications. After leaving the Air Force, he continued to serve his country in civil service, traveling worldwide. He retired from Eglin Air Force Base in 1987.
Mr. Rigby was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Patricia A. Rigby; his four children Becky Beverly (Mitch), Ranee Cunningham (Les), James Rigby (Michelle) and Greg Rigby (Chrisy). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Shana Kinnard (Jeff), Brantley Cunningham (Katy), James Rigby, Jr., (Amanda), Jeremy Rigby, Cassie Mense (Adam), Christopher Beverly, Wesley Cunningham, Hermon Rigby, Blake Rigby, Savannah Rigby, Amber Rigby, Nolan Rigby. He is also survived by his two great grandchildren, Annelle Rigby and Nola Mense.
The family will receive visitors at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Saturday 12:00-1:00. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, directly after visitation.
Memorial donations can be directed to Welch College, 1045 Bison Trail, Gallatin, TN 37066.
