Elsie M. Arnold, 92, passed away February 22, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.
She was born Nov. 21, 1925, to Walter and Beulah (Hitch) Kaufman of Perry County. She was united in holy marriage to Ray Arnold on Sept. 9, 1944.
Elsie worked at General Electric for 13 years and at 3D as a store clerk for 8 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the American Legion Auxiliary, the William Tell Senior Citizens, the OAKS, and the Alzheimer's Caregivers Association.
Surviving are her children, Ronald Arnold (Barb) of Noblesville, Wayne Arnold of Biloxi, Miss., Brenda Peter of Derby, Carol Atwell (Dudley) of Lewisport, Ky., Randy Arnold (Beth) of Indianapolis, Joani LaGrange (Cliff) of Leopold and Patrick Arnold of Tell City; 17 grandchildren, Clark, Casey and Nathan Arnold, Kevin and Travis Atwell, April Madden, Lynette Zoglmann, Stacey and Derek Peter, Danielle Hippen, Josh, Erik and Zach Arnold, Kyle, Tyler and Hunter LaGrange, Natalie Block and 20 great-grandchildren.
Preceding Elsie in death were her parents; her husband, Ray; and her son-in-law, Dan Peter.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
