SURING, Wis. – Dora Marie (Horsley) Huff, 81, of Suring, Wis., passed away Jan. 21, 2019, at St Claire's Hospital in Oconto Falls, Wis.
Dora was born Dec. 30, 1937, in Cannelton to Elmer T. and Rosina Agnes (Ballow) Horsley. She retired from General Electric in Owensboro, Ky. A member of St Michaels Catholic Church of Cannelton, a member of St Paul's Catholic Church of Tell City and Daughters of Isabella until she moved to Catalina, Ariz., in 1999, where she became a member of St Marks Catholic Church until moving to Wisconsin in 2016. She enjoyed spending time visiting with family and friends, fishing, bingo, ceramics and working jigsaw puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Rosina; her husband James E Huff; her sisters Anna Healy (James), Katherine Heeke (Edmond), Mary Parker (Charles), Marcella Chadwell (William); her brothers Charles (Bessie), Anthony (Ruth) and Maurice Horsley.
She is survived by her daughter Rosemary L. Brown (Mary Kellam), a granddaughter LaTasha R. (Lawson) Schober, two great-granddaughters Jaina (4) and Serenity (2) Schober; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will be made to bring her home in the spring of 2019. There will be a memorial service announced at that time.
