GRANDVIEW – Harold "H" Bennett, 68, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018.
Harold was born in Evansville, Ind., on July 30, 1950, to the late Harold Q. and Goldie E. (Sims) Bennett.
Harold was of the Nazarene faith, a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era, a graduate of South Spencer High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College. He had worked in maintenance at National Office Furniture and retired from O.F.S. in 2012.
Harold enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, working in his garden, hunting, and anything on four wheels. He also loved his dog very much.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Frank Bennett.
Harold is survived by his wife, Sandi (Hudson) Bennett, whom he married on Nov. 25, 1972; his daughters, Courtney E. Schaefer (Donnie Allen) of Etowah, Tenn., and Ashley Meredith (Tony) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Abby Brock, Logan Meredith, and Caitlin Meredith.
Services were held Saturday, Dec. 22, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with burial following in Grandview Cemetery.
