Imogene M. Bockhold, 85, passed away peacefully Friday, May 4, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.
She was born April 15, 1933 to Claude and Hazel Goffinet in Ranger, Indiana. She was united in holy marriage to John Bockhold on September 8, 1951.
Imogene had worked at General Electric and retired from Perry Central School Corp. after 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching birds, playing euchre, and visiting friends and family, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Randy of Tell City, Neil (Connie) of Leopold, Kevin (Carrie) of Dexter and Tim (Tina) of Gatchel; her daughters, Kim Steen (Steve) of Bandon, Tonya Stillwill of Branchville and Michele Peter (David) of Gatchel; a brother, Denny Howe (Lana) of Leopold; her grandchildren Jeff Bockhold, Clint Bockhold, Nick Bockhold, Cory Bockhold, John Steen, Carrie Steen, Madelyn Steen, Adam Stillwell, Alex Stillwell, Mason Peter, Kade Peter, and Zayne Trowbridge and her great-grandchildren Morgan, Mia, Jaxon, Katie, Raelynn, Ellie Jo, and Adeline.
Preceding her in death were her husband John Bockhold, her parents; her son Jerry; sister, Velma Lee Pund, and a granddaughter, Melissa.
Funeral services will be at Tuesday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial following in the church's cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm Monday, May 7, and from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Imogene will be remembered for her infectious personality and will be sadly missed.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or St.Augustine Catholic Church.
