TELL CITY – Jerry Dean Howell, 58, passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at his home.
Born Aug. 11, 1960, in Tell City, Ind., he was the son of the late George and Marie (Bennett) Howell. He was married to Delight Robbins on March 10, 1984. Jerry had been employed by Mobile Corp. and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, car racing and rebuilding Mustangs.
Survivors include his wife, Delight Howell; his son Brandon Howell (Grace) of Cannelton; his grandsons, Dakota and Hunter; his twin sister, Sherry Howell of Tell City, sisters Marjorie Roberts, Brenda Goffinet, both of Tell City and Dianne Kessans of Florida; his brothers, Richard Howell of Glasgow, Ky., and Douglas Howell of St. Croix; and his father- and mother-in-law, Harold and Marry Robbins.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, George; nephews, John and Phillip Howell; and a brother-in-law, Larry Goffinet.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with John Smitson officiating. Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and from noon to service time Friday.
