Mary Lynette Donnelly, 92, formerly of Tell City, passed away Feb. 23, 2018, at the Owensboro Center, in Owensboro, Ky.
She was born April 25, 1925, to Walter and Bernice (Tyson) White in Swainsboro, Ga. She married Edward Paul Donnelly on Feb. 26, 1945.
Lynette had been a waitress for 25 years at the Swiss Haus in Tell City, and she thoroughly enjoyed growing roses.
Surviving are her children, David Donnelly (Steffanie) of Houston, Texas, and Mary Michelle Schmidt (Stephen) of Owensboro, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Edward; children, Paul Donnelly and Gary Donnelly; and siblings, Sara Davis, John Wayne White, Billy White, and Martha Hollis.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 3, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Croix with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 – 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are can be given to Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Croix, Indiana.
