Mr. and Mrs. Grabe - you did an amazing job raising Jon. I went to college with him and he was an amazing athlete (he beat me in fencing all the time!), scholar, and friend. He inspired me to keep working hard. My prayers go out to you and your family. May you find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in all those that he touched.

To the parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and undoubtedly many friends of Jon's. I am sorry for your loss!
I am a Research Nurse at Washington University and I had the pleasure of meeting Jon. In brief, he was/ is highly respected be his peers, the Fellows and Attending Physicians in the Department of Neuromuscle, and Neurology. Jon's contribution to Neuromuscle research will be missed! Most importantly his loving, kind, generous heart is missed!

Dear Grabe Family, I remember you all from the short time the boys attended Strawbridge School. I really remember Christopher and Jonathan, Moira, because we both had our toddlers in strollers at the same time. I don't presume to have known Jonathan well- wish I had... But we know what it's like to loose a son, as we lost our son Zachary @ 24 eight years ago. Because you loved him, he will always live, even if not in the physical realm. Know that he will be with you all the time - not the way we want from our broken hearts, but in your heart you will hear him, feel him. Our deepest condolences to you all.
