So sorry to hear the sad news. Although I've been out of the area for years, seeing Lorenzo outside the shop from time to time always gave me hope for the survival of Frankford. He was an icon, great barber and a good man with such a positive outlook on life. God bless you Lorenzo! Rest in peace

My thoughts, prayers and best wishes go out to all of Lorenzo's family and friends. He always had a great big smile and a joke or two to tell whenever I came into the barber shop. I have been using his services for all 54 plus years and as a kid, I can remember being the “last cut” of the evening. Lorenzo would offer my father a drink and me a soda. Never needing a bottle opener, he would remove the bottle cap with his teeth; I never forgot that. He will be dearly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in your time of loss. I remember going to Lorenzo back when I was in my twenties, always pleasant and had a smile on his face. He surely will be missed. Cherish all the fond memories that you shared for that is what we have to hold onto. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. RIP Lorenzo

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lorenzo's family and friends. I was born and raised in Frankford and he gave me my first, decent hair cut...other than my Mom trying to "cut it!" He fixed me up good....even after I tried to cut my own bangs. The man was a saint...a blessing and a ray of hope amongst the hopeless. I will never forget his pleasant demeanor and his dedication to the neighborhood. I've spent the last 8 years at Frankford-Frankford Hospital as an employee and, like I mentioned earlier, I was born and raised in Frankford...went to Edmunds then Frankford High. Lorenzo was literally the last man standing on Frankford Avenue and nothing is more impressive than his love and faith in the neighborhood, no matter what. He will be sorely missed. Loved him...truly! May God bless and keep him and his family.

I have known Lorenzo for 35 years. He has been my barber and friend since 1980. A true good and hard working man, what a gentleman. I continued to go to him for haircuts even though I no longer live in that area. He just cut my hair 2 weeks ago on Monday. Upon leaving his shop I would say " See you soon", his reply was always, "God spare, stay well" God Bless Lorenzo, I will miss you and never forget you!

Gabriella, I'm sorry to hear that your father passes away. A long time has passes since I saw him last but he often comes to mind every time I slow dance with my husband. When I was single and he would dance with me at family gatherings the one lesson I learned from him was " let the man lead". Those word come into my mind everytime . I will always remember him for that lesson!
