Marvin was an exceptional community leader and an exceptional person. He dedicated his life to improving his neighborhood and helping the people who lived there. He believed that "God is always good" and a sustained hope for the future that enabled him to constantly strive to improve the lives of others. He was a great inspiration to me and many others. It was a honor to have known him. Rest in peace Marvin.
