I was devastated, when I heard the sad news. Mr. Miller will surely be missed by the Frankford community. He was an icon here in Frankford. He was a good role model for African American young males. He touched so many lives in a positive way. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To the Miller Family,
My deepest condolences for your loss. May you feel peace in knowing that the world was a far better place to have Mr. Miller in it. I will always be thankful for having Mr. Miller as my homeroom teacher my senior year. His words of wisdom, attitude and quiet leadership made us all better people. I'll never forget his smile the Monday morning after we beat West Philadelphia in 4 OTs. He will be missed.

Vince Miller, there is so much i can say about this wonderful man. I met him in October and felt like i have known him my whole life. I remember when Vince showed me his memorabilia of Wilt Chamberlain and his life acheivments. He and Gloria were the nicest people that you could ever meet. Vince Miller will always be in my heat and will be remembered forever.

What a sad day and what a kind, compassionate man. I had Mr. Miller in mechanical drawing for 2 years. He introduced me to Wilt Chamberlain - a memory I will never forget. He also helped me get a basketball scholarship to Phila.Textile back in 1981 when there weren't many scholarships for female athletes. I am sure he helped more people than we will ever know. I know he is with our Lord now looking down on us with that wonderful smile. God bless his family in their time of sorrow.

Mr. Miller was a true gentleman and always a class act. I was honored to have him as my home room and mechanical drawing teacher at Frankford. He was a wonderful mentor in every way possible.
Heaven now has an angel as their new basketball coach and inspiration!
My condolances to all of his family as he will truly be missed!

Vince was an exceptional basketball coach. He was honest and fair and always let you know where he stood on matters. I had the fortune of playing basketball for him at Frankford in 1977-78 and also having him as a drafting teacher in that same year.
