Dear Mrs Erickson: My thoughts are with you. I knew Bill for about 12 years when I was a Planning Commissioner. He was there for me during the very difficult casino hearings and I will never forget his good humor and willingness to try to make things go smoothly. It was a challenge and I and his colleagues all knew he was up to the task. He will be missed by friends and colleagues and you have my deepest sympathy.

Dear Laura, Tori and Michael,
Bill was one of the finest examples of a good man and a good citizen I ever knew. I admired and respected him and I'm extremely grateful for all the time I was able to spend with him. It was an honor to work with Bill and he influenced me in many ways. Just thinking of all the work we did together and the good times we had. I will miss him deeply every day.
My deepest condolences – if there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to call.

Laura, Tori and Michael, Bill was such a special person who loved his family above anything else in the world. I will remember him joking and laughing with us on Thursday and that he was happy during his time with us. I only wish that I could bear the burden of your pain so that you could remember the joy he brought to your lives. He was a great man of unquestioning principles and it was an honor to know him and be included in his life.

Dear Laura, Tori, Michael & family,

Bill was a great Friend and Chief. We miss him already and will fondly remember the times we spent together. In the Coast Guard Reserve - He's always been the "go to" guy whenever we needed advice or a volunteer and was always ready to help. He was there whenever our Nation and Coast Guard needed him. I'll miss our conversations and ride in to drill weekend. We are so sad & sorry for your loss and our loss as well. Jerry and Sheila Conrad
