lynda.. u were on my mind. we miss you and love you greatly. abbie's doing well.. you'd be beyond proud of her. we all are. everyone who knew you always asks about you, and of course the "brat" she has really outgrown that nickname.... she's become such a beautiful woman.. and my best friend, and sister. mikey is amazing also. he takes such good care of everything. he keeps her in check. its holiday time, and right now i'd be getting ready to give something to your students.. i still kick myself everytime for not coming in with you.. i kept pushing it off, and i never got to meet any of your little ones! they loved you too.. we all do. i love you.. just wanted to let you know i was thinking of u,,

I will always be glad that I knew Lynda. I only worked with her for two years at Rivera, but I was fortunate to have known her. Her kindness was an inspiration to me.

To the Soroka Family and Aunt Shirley - I grew up with Lynda on Malvern Ave. in Overbrook Park and was best friends with Lynda throughout High School. She was a great, dear friend and I remember passing my drivers test in her blue Corvair. We spent hours in her bedroom just having fun and doing typical teenage girlfriend stuff. We didn't stay in touch after high school, but she was a special, loving childhood friend. My deepest sympathy to Abbie, Harry and Shirley.

I will never forget Lynda's smile or love of scones. I loved talking about the little things with her. I will miss our chats and sharing a magazine over coffee. I will always laugh when I think of her stretching her shirts and "telling it like it is". She made a print on my heart forever. Abbie, Mike and Harry- and the rest of the people lucky enough to have known Lynda- My heart goes out to you. I am sending my wishes and condolences from Japan.

Bad things happen to good people, and I will never understand why. Shirley, Harry, Abbie, your loss will be with you forever, but so will the memories, and it will be those you will reflect on in time. We went to high school together, and met again years later. She always made me smile and I will miss her kindness and friendship. Too young, too soon. Your sorrow is shared by all who knew Lynda. Lynda, I will miss you.

Dear Mrs. Freedman, Harry and Abby,
I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Lynda as a sweet, caring, wonderful person. Abby, unfortunately, I've never met you, but you were blessed with Lynda for a mother. She was truly a unique person in a good, special way. I loved the way she, her mother and grandmother all looked alike. Cherish the memories.Again, my deepest condolences.

Lynda was a wonderful friend, and she never had a bad day, or let you know she was having one.
She was a unwavering advocate for quality early childhood education.
She had an incredible zest, and love, for life.
She is gone too soon, and will be truly missed by her friends and love ones.
