DR. PAUL W. JR. Suddenly on June 2, 2009, he was 57 years old, Dr. Franzen was a Chiropractor in Lafayette Hill and a Physical Ed. Teacher at the Taggert Elem. School in Phila.; devoted son of Paul W. Sr., and the late Lavene (nee Haas) Franzen; beloved brother of Patricia Franzen, Mark Franzen, Lizanne Hagedorn, Valerie Franzen, the late Marie Rader and William Franzen. Fiancee Karen Gutsky; also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing in Church, Saturday after 9 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. followed by his Funeral Mass, 11 A.M. Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 819 Cathedral Rd., (off Ridge Ave.) Int. Private. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS, the family requests donations in Paul's name to 21st Ward Jr. Baseball League, 400 Port Royal Ave., Phila., 19128 or American Cancer Society Bikathon-Phila. (www.acsbike.org)

Paul was a big part of my life many years ago and we had kept in touch through the years. I am so shocked and saddened by his death. He will be missed by so many people - family, friends, students and patients. My heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with his family at this time.

Paul Franzen was more than our chiropractor, he was our friend. His deep knowledge of his craft kept David from back surgery and Paul taught him how to maintain a healthy back. They shared thoughts on many things, besides good health: biking, family relationships, cats and more. We confidently recommended him to anyone. We will sorely miss "Doc" and are in shock at his passing. Our prayers are with his family and other friends.
