He was a joy to work with on the Wilson musicals and taught me so much about how the songs were vital to telling the story. I always enjoyed our days at rehearsals. He was a wonderful, gifted man.

I will forever have precious memories of having Mr. Bill as a vocal music teacher/chorus director in the Bristol Township schools. He was a wonderful educator, and a great human being as well. My sincere condolences go out to his beloved Mary, Jennifer and Matthew, and his family and friends. RIP, Mr. H.

You have my sincere sympathy after Bill's death.
I am Bill's cousin from Illinois, and I am just six months older than Bill. I have many pleasant, childhood memories of our family gatherings at our grandparents (the Goulds) when all of the cousins and our families were together at Thanksgiving and other holidays. Four of us were all born in 1943, so we had many things in common.
I also have pleasant memories of the last time I saw you at your Jenkintown home when my Dad and I had dinner at your house at least 20 years ago. Since I live in Illinois, I have not been back to Philadelhia very much in recent years.
You will remain in my thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time.
