Dear Joan, Scott and Maidie,
My friendship wih Scott has been a joy and delight. I cherish my phone visits with Scott. What a strong, courageous, fun loving, dear young man! I called him my hero and told him numerous times he was an inspiration to me and many others.
His photo with Malcom is on my dinging room table beside a burning pear-prayer candle, sending him love and lightin spirit. We all were blessed to know Scott and all of you in his precious Wilson family.
With love, positivity and light,

Patti Hudson Lancaster, PA

Oh My Scotty Dog..... I love you and I will miss you. I am glad I was there to see you turn the big 40! You had the heart of an angel and the strength of a warrior. You fought a good fight all while keeping a great sense of humor. You were an awesome friend and a sneaky card player ? You always made me laugh and I cherish all the memories we had. I wish I could be there to say so long for now. Unfortunately, I live in Eastern North Carolina and there is a hurricane coming over. Good for me I know I will have the sweetest guardian angel watching out for me. I will miss you Dog! Joey & Mike convinced me to ride the “EL” so we could come see you on one of your many stays at Jefferson. I was scared to death and wouldn’t have done it for anyone else! You were worth taking the frightful trip. Goodbye for now………..With love always, your friend Heather (Parker) Terrill

I am on the same shift as Scott at Davita and I have enjoyed many conversations with him, some about how lucky we both are to have such wonderful, supportive families. He will always be an inspiration to me and I pray that your memories will soon bring smiles rather than tears. God bless you all.

I am absolutely stunned and saddened to learn that the toughest, most resilient person I know is no longer with us. As his friend and neighbor, Scott showed me by example how to endure the many challenges of life. On a daily basis, he bore the unbearable with dignity, courage, hope and optimism. I called him Ironman out of respect for his toughness and resilience. It was a real privilege and blessing to know him. I will miss him and his incredible spirit the rest of my life.
